Heiko is IT Manager for Pala, responsible for the development and integration of technological innovations within the Pala group. He supports the investment and operations teams by maintaining and upgrading internal software as well as on-premises infrastructure. Additionally, he contributes to the investment team’s data science and machine learning ventures.

Before joining Pala, Heiko worked at Siemens’ Smart Infrastructure headquarters in Zug, where he was responsible for master data management and product metadata administration.

Heiko is a computer scientist EFZ and holds a MSc in Business Information Technology from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

Lara joined Pala in 2018 and is an Accountant in the finance team. She is responsible for processing trades, conducting weekly reconciliations and assists in the preparation of Pala’s and related companies’ financial statements. Lara is focused on continuous improvement of processes, and as such was instrumental in reorganizing and implementing new accounting software for the firm in 2021. 

Prior to joining Pala, Lara worked at CSS Insurance. She holds a professional degree in accounting.

Caroline is Pala’s Executive Assistant.  She supports the entire Pala team across multiple administrative areas, including travel and logistics, internal and external meeting organization, event planning, and social media and marketing coordination.

She was a key contributor to Pala’s rebranding in 2019, and provides first-level IT support to the team. In addition to administrative responsibilities, Caroline manages Pala’s apprenticeship program, tracks the investment team’s project management and quarterly reporting activity, and supports ad hoc due diligence, KYC, compliance and other paralegal activities.

Prior to joining Pala in 2017, Caroline was an Executive Assistant at Edwards Lifesciences. She completed her commercial apprenticeship with vocational baccalaureate at Siemens and holds the Executive Assistant with Federal Diploma degree as well as a diploma as Digital Marketing Manager.

Olga is a Senior Assistant, Operations, and has been working for Pala since its inception in 2007. She is responsible for managing Pala’s office premises and contracts database, and advises and supports the Operations Team across various functions including HR.

Prior to joining Pala, Olga was a Sales and Marketing Assistant at Chieftec and Siemens in their Medical Equipment department.

Olga holds a BA degree in Languages from the Hight School for Languages and Translation in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
