Clark joined Pala in 2023 as Vice President and manages a number of the firm’s core portfolio investments. He plays a key role in developing and executing Pala’s investment strategies, and is actively involved across the investment cycle including origination, due diligence, portfolio optimization and monetization.

Prior to joining Pala, Clark was a Director in Credit Suisse’s Investment Banking division in Toronto, leading the bank’s coverage of the Canadian metals and mining sector. Over his 13-year tenure at Credit Suisse, Clark advised corporate clients on a wide variety of strategic transactions including buy-side and sell-side M&A, IPOs and follow-on equity offerings, high-yield and investment-grade bonds, joint ventures, streaming transactions, and toll-milling agreements. Notable transactions include Triple Flag Precious Metals’ $264m IPO, Barrick’s sale of its 50% interest in the KCGM Super-Pit for $750m, Centerra’s $1.1b acquisition of Thompson Creek Metals, Zijin Mining’s C$323m acquisition of Guyana Goldfields, and Dominion Diamond’s $550m high-yield bond offering.

Clark holds an Honours BA in Business Administration (HBA) from Ivey Business School at Western University in London, Canada.
